What happens when the gatekeepers are gone?

The children run out to play. The animals run free. Chaos ensues. Fun happens. Accidents happen. Someone gets lost. Something gets stolen. Fears and dreams are realized. We learn, good and bad. I remember once being married to a woman who loved gates and fences and the peace and security they promised. Differences must be respected. Noted. And respected. Time for me to kick off my shoes and go play for a bit.

Thanks for this heartfelt and compelling plea for diversity, tolerance and freedom Scott. It's beautiful.
