Spoof tells the truth.

Thanks Josh Smith for the point to this spoof about the ubiquitous and dubious "FreeCreditReportDotCom" campaign. You know, the one with the goofy French guy singing about all the bad stuff that can happen if somebody rips off your I.D. As Josh suggested, this message needs to be spread around as a public service. As much as I generally admire the work of friends at The Martin Agency, this is another time where I've got to hope public feedback will swell to the point of forcing them to push, nudge, cajole and/or challenge the client toward greater transparency.
