Zig in a zag world.

Just saw this subway poster up on PSFK. Love it that master of digital content creation, Disney, has signed on to sponsor old school, analogue (read: ball and stick in hand) games. The stuff of dreams.

This ad in the Spring Street subway station advertises a summer of old school games in New York’s parks, featuring such favorites as Stick Ball, Stoop Ball, Box Ball, Skully, Hopscotch, Jacks, Double-Dutch and Red Light, Green Light. The only thing missing from my childhood is that all-time favorite, Kick the Can.

Wow. When was the last time you got a skinned knee on Nintendo? Speaking of which, somebody might want to snag the street vendor cart rights for Bactine. Feel that old school sting!
