Your great idea isn't necessarily my idea of what's good

Umair has some really good discussion and links coalescing on the Evil of Facebook and their misguided thinking vis a vis opt-out vs opt-in ad models. I don't see Zuckerberg perpetrating evil maliciously, but more the case of not understanding the jump-the-shark impact of his firm's double-speak around the fundamental issue of trust. If I can't believe what you say, I can't trust you. It's really pretty simple. Too simple apparently for the highly complex.

I can almost hear the wails in the dry-erase walled rooms: Why don't you people GET IT!?!?!
