Mac OS hits record 6.81% market share in latest survey

FORTUNE magazine reports Apple share of the operating system market dipped slightly in October, prior to Leopard intro, then grew 3.34% in November to hit a record 6.81%, according to the results of a Net Applications survey issued today.

The trend continues to strengthen, especially as more buyers are making the transition from old Wintel desktop boxes to laptops, and discovering the MacBooks in the process. All cylinders firing.
