Apple Store. Destination or point of departure?

Excellent piece in today's NYTimes pretty much captures the story on Apple retail. Anyone who hasn't experienced it yet really does need to spend some time observing the effect. No detail has been overlooked or left to chance. The human recruiting/training factor is probably the easiest to underestimate, since it feels so seamless. But it's remarkable. Worth reading if you have a few minutes to spare.
