Nike, Levi's partner on collection
BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) - Athletic shoe and apparel maker Nike (NYSE:NKE) Inc. on Monday said it will partner with jeansmaker Levi Strauss & Co. to make products with Nike's Jordan brand. Financial terms were undisclosed.
The Jordan Levi's Collection will be jointly developed and be named 23/501. It will begin being sold in March 2008.
The men's-only specialty collection will pair Air Jordan Retro 1 sneakers with a pair of co-branded Levi's Original 501 jeans and T-shirt, sold as a set.
The limited-edition packages will be sold at specialty retailers, Levi stores and Niketown stores.
